Change The Color Of Mailchimp Sign-Up Button
Latest update: September 23, 2019 | Reading time: 1 to 2 minutesIn this short tutorial, we are going to show you how to change the color of the Mailchimp Sign-up button.
The button is based upon bootstrap classes so we are going to utilize those classes to regulate the color.
On the example, we are going to change the button color to orange.
The Workaround
First, go to Dashboard > MCFWP > Form, locate and edit the form code.
Replace the btn-primary class with btn btn-orange (note, there is a second btn in front).
The original form was:
<div class=”large_form”>
<input class=”” type=”email” name=”EMAIL” placeholder=”Your email address” required /><input class=”btn-lg btn-primary” type=”submit” value=”Sign up” />
</div>
after editing the form will become:
<div class=”large_form”>
<input class=”” type=”email” name=”EMAIL” placeholder=”Your email address” required /><input class=”btn-lg btn btn-orange” type=”submit” value=”Sign up” />
</div>
Next, Save the form, visit the front page and open the Customizer. Navigate to the Additional CSS field. Add the following lines:
.btn-orange {
background-color: orange;
border-color: orange;
}
and click on Publish. Effectively, after doing that, the button color should have been changed to orange.
Feel free to use any valid HTML color instead of orange.
