Timeline Shortcode won’t display Markup with attributes
Latest update: April 12, 2019 | Reading time: 1 to 2 minutesWhen using the Timeline Shortcode, you may find yourself trying to add custom markup on the TIME BOX TITLE and TIME BOX SUBTITLE input fields and upon saving the Page the content of these input fields has vanished.
For example, if you try to add markup to the TIME BOX TITLE that includes a font awesome icon and some custom style attribute like this:
<i class="fa fa-twitter"></i><strong style="color:#1da1f2;">Twitter</strong>
and then save the page, you will find the input field empty!
In order to make this work, you will need to replace all the “double quotes” with ‘single quotes’ so that your markup looks like this:
<i class='fa fa-twitter'></i><strong style='color:#1da1f2;'>Twitter</strong>
That’s it. Now go create some cool timelines!
