Google often reviews/changes its Terms of Service and, sometimes inserts new regulations.
Recently, a new addition requires developers to “display all attribution that (i) Google provides through the Services (including branding, logos, and copyright and trademark notices); or (ii) is specified in the Service Specific Terms (https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/terms/maps-service-terms/).” In addition, developers are not allowed to “modify, obscure, or delete such attribution.”
If you have purchased Cleanstart before September 2018 and, have imported a demo, it is possible some elements of the Google maps (such as the logo) on the Contact page to be suppressed by the design. Here are a few steps to fix that without using any custom CSS, only native page options.
– Edit the “Contact” page and, navigate to Page Options (by default, it’s under the main content area)
– Go to Content Display Tab and, set Show Title On Content to position Show
– Go to Head Panel Tab and, set Title/Subtitle Behavior to position No Title / Subtitle
– Go to Other Elements tab and, set Header Side Corners to position Hide
– Update page.
At this point, the corners of the map will have been restored and the title of the page will have moved out of the display panel, resulting in letting all the elements of the map appear as requested by Google.
